In Tasmania there continues to be a great need from families for the paediatric Allied Health services provided by St.Giles.
In 2025 alone, our multidisciplinary team supported approximately 3000 families across Tasmania.
Despite this, the need in the community continues to grow.
For our paediatric clients, every week spent on a waitlist is a week where family life is impacted while they wait to find out ‘what’s next’ on their child’s journey.

And for many Tasmanian families looking to secure these services, St.Giles is the only life raft in the ocean as other public systems are stretched beyond capacity and private consultations are an expense many cannot afford.
Our Allied Health team exists to be able to support the Tasmanian community, and over the years we have evolved and adapted to be best placed to appropriately meet this need.
“Our strength is in the relationships we foster with the families and communities we serve” – James Thomas, Senior Manager Allied Health
Currently the need exists for our Allied Health team to recruit additional skilled professionals to meet the demands we see in the community and give every Tasmanian child the best chance of success as they learn, grow, and interact with their peers.
