St.Giles, one of Tasmania’s oldest and most recognised disability service organisations has today unveiled a new look and feel as the organisation ramps up delivery of services across the state.
“Looking back at the 86-year long history of our organisation, you can see how we’ve evolved many times as our services and client base has changed, and our teams have adapted to deliver new therapies and within differing funding arrangements,” said CEO Honni Pitt.
A little over 10 years since the NDIS revolutionised the disability sector in Australia, the organisation decided now was the time to reposition themselves in the public’s mind.
“Over the past 18 months we have worked hard to evolve the St.Giles brand and website, with accessibility and overall readability our highest priorities.”
The roll out includes a new tag line, “Whole of life solutions”, as the organisation seeks to inform the community of the services offered.
“Many people recognise St.Giles for the work we do with children, but we have delivered services to clients of all ages as far back as the 1980’s when the organisation built accessible accommodation for young adults.”
“Today we continue to work with people of all ages through our Allied Health, Assistive Technology and Support Service operations, and we’re excited to grow our service offerings with new programs and developments in the pipeline that will appeal to a broad section of the community”
“While our mission of enabling people to thrive has not changed, we believe it’s important that the community knows the range of services we offer, and our new tagline acknowledges this.”
The graphic element of new logo speaks to the themes of diversity, community, and delivery of services across all ages and stages of life, and was developed by local agency Kingthing Marketing, who have come on board as a corporate partner while assisting with the rebrand.
“I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone in Tasmania who doesn’t directly or indirectly have a St.Giles story,” said Kingthing Marketing CEO Rob King.
“For our team it’s so rewarding to be able to partner with an organisation like St.Giles, where you can see the positive difference they make in a person’s life, it’s truly humbling.”
Signage at St.Giles sites across Tasmania is being professionally installed this month by local agency Think Big printing.
