From the CEO: Growing our Impact

Every day at St.Giles, we see what becomes possible when a person is given the right support at the right time.

We see children learning to move, starting to communicate, acquiring key life skills, and developing ways to identify and regulate their emotions.

We see joy, determination, and the frustrations, as these children learn new life skills. And we see families find hope where there was once uncertainty.

These moments may seem small to others but for the people living them, they are life changing.

For almost 90 years St.Giles has supported Tasmanians living with disability. Helping people grow in confidence, capability and connection. But none of this happens alone.

It grows because people like you care.

Today I’m inviting you to be part of St.Giles Growing Our Impact Mid-Year Appeal because your donation can help deliver life-changing opportunities for those who need them most.

With your support we can keep growing our reach, helping more Tasmanians access essential therapies, supports and services.

We can keep growing our possibilities, investing in innovative programs, cutting edge Assistive Technology, and developing Employment Supports for young adults that open doors and create opportunity.

Together we can keep growing our impact, enabling more Tasmanians living with disability to thrive and to live the life they choose.

For many families, the journey with disability can feel overwhelming. But your generosity can help turn challenge into progress, and progress into possibility.

A gift today could help a child learn new communication skills.
It could help a young person gain greater independence.
It could help a family access supports that make everyday life more achievable.

This is the difference your donation makes.

When you give to St.Giles, you are not simply funding services you are joining our families and children on their journey. You are helping grow confidence. Grow inclusion. Grow futures.

And right now, your support matters.
As demand for St.Giles services continues to grow, so too does the need for community support.

With your help we can do more.

Together we can grow opportunity.
Together we can grow hope.
Together we can grow a future where every person can thrive.

As the recently appointed interim CEO of St Giles, I now can witness the impact of our services for the adults, children and their families across the State. These services are provided by our dedicated clinicians and support workers, sometimes through Government funding – but not always.

Your donation enables us to bridge the gaps and offer services when they may still be needed, but may not be attainable. There is no better reward than the laughter of children and the smiles of their family, when their future becomes a little easier.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

With gratitude,

Stephen Brown

Chief Executive Officer

All donations over $2 to St.Giles and the Growing Our Impact Appeal are tax-deductible.
