St.Giles are seeking disability support workers to provide services and supports that align with our mission of enabling people to thrive. We are looking for disability support workers who are dynamic, with experience in supporting a range of different participants and support needs. Disability support workers play a vital role in delivering crucial services to individuals funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You will work within the community and Support Independent Living properties and be responsible for the delivery of programs and supports to ensure that our participants are safe, engaged and actively supported. All interaction needs to facilitate choice and control, be flexible, and promote inclusion, community-based options and fun.

St Giles requires the following from you:

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with participants, their families, community agencies and other professionals.
  • Experience in the Disability Sector (preferred).
  • Permission to work in Australia.
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and insured vehicle.
  • National Police Check (no older than 3 months).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Current or ability to apply for Working with Vulnerable People Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Ability to work various shifts on a 7-day roster.
  • Successful applicants will be required to undertake a medical assessment before commencement of employment.
