St.Giles Learning and Lifestyle Hub is an exciting new venture where life skills are taught to use at home, at work, or as you look to transition from school to the workforce

St.Giles Kitchen

Led by Sandy’s Sourdough master baker Josh Crisp, St.Giles Kitchen bakery program has been developed in collaboration with FermenTasmania to deliver individualised capacity building for all participants, whether they’re looking for employment opportunities or simply to learn skills to use at home.

With practical on-the-tools learning and easy to follow instructions delivered by our experienced instructors, St.Giles Kitchen is specifically structured to equip our aspiring bakers with all the skills they need to succeed.

By working with participants in a commercial kitchen environment, our educators are able to deliver meaningful lessons where tangible, and delicious, outcomes happen everyday.

After completing the initial bakery skills sessions, participants are able to learn valuable retail and sales skills by taking the produce to locals markets such as Launceston’s Harvest Market and our own St.Giles Niche Market.

St.Giles are an accredited NDIS School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) provider. To find out more about our SLES options, contact us.
