Meet Jane; our new NDIS Service Delivery Lead for Early Intervention.
Jane worked as a teacher across primary, high school and adult education before changing career paths to speech pathology over a decade ago.
“I’ve worked as a speech pathologist in early intervention and with adults, but my heart is in supporting people with disability and complex communication needs” Jane said.
After moving to Launceston from NSW’s Mid-North Coast a year ago, heard about St Giles by word of mouth.

“Families were talking about the positive experiences they’d had at St. Giles, and how much their children enjoyed working with the clinicians. That drew me to looking into a little more closely at the services that St. Giles provides.”
Jane’s role is a newly created position, that will see her take on a leadership role, providing support and guidance to the multi-disciplinary team based in Launceston while allowing her to take on a caseload of her own clients.
Jane will also be out and about in the community, consulting with the many St. Giles stakeholders about how we can continue to best serve the community.
“I’m looking forward to working with a multi-disciplinary team as each discipline brings unique skills and valuable perspectives.”
“St. Giles has such a fantastic reputation within the community. They’re already doing amazing things so I’m happy to be coming along with them on the journey.”
Jane has now commenced her employment and looks forward to meeting new and returning clients and their families.
