St.Giles Niche Market is one of Tasmania’s most successful design and make enterprises regularly attracting 1000’s of shoppers to our markets at the Tramsheds in Launceston.
With a focus on Tasmanian, designed, made and created goods, each Niche Market features 50 Tasmanian stallholders ranging from jewellery to home decor to spirits and much, much more.
Our Niche Makers donate a percentage of their total sales to support the work of St.Giles.
Niche markets are limited to approximately 50 stallholders and it is your responsibility to present your stall in a creative and inviting manner.
Niche is first and foremost a fundraising event for St.Giles, and our team works hard to ensure stallholders are well supported – it is an ethical and honourable partnership.
There is no closing date for applications – we are always open to fresh makers and new ideas.
As a condition of your acceptance of a place at the Niche Market, makers agree to donate 20 per cent of their sales to St.Giles.
There are three criteria for acceptance to NICHE.
Premium products – We like unique items, Tasmanian designed and hand-made by you.
Donation – You are obligated to make a donation equal to 20 per cent of your gross take.
Excellent customer service – Our shoppers love to hear the stories behind the products. If you’re shy, feel free to bring a sales buddy to work alongside you.
