St.Giles Psychology team supports children with a range of needs to increase their capacity for emotion regulation, establish positive strategies for managing anxiety, anger and frustration, and provides support for caregivers around building positive regulation strategies and understanding behaviour using a neuro-affirming lens.
Psychologists also work with the Developmental Assessment Team (DAT) to complete a range of differential diagnostic assessments.
Our Psychology Therapy Team aims to work collaboratively with children, adolescents, their families, and schools to deliver neurodiversity-affirming, inclusive support that recognises everyone’s strengths, preferences, and goals. Our approach is not one-size-fits-all, we take the time to understand what matters most to each child and the people around them. We’re committed to creating a safe, respectful, and client-centred therapeutic space where children and families feel heard, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
