St.Giles returns to the historic St. John’s Church in 2025 for a night with old and new friends, live entertainment, and fine Tasmanian produce all in the name of fundraising for the recommissioning of St.Giles Hydrotherapy Pool.
The evening will be a classy cocktail party styled event, with an emphasis on guests being able to roam, mingle, and connect with each other while being served fine canapes from Matsons Catering, paired with a selection of Tasmanian wines and beverages.
Event manager Scott Gelston said the team was looking forward to welcoming supporters of St.Giles to this exciting new event.
“We consider this an evolution of the successful Black Diamond events that we’ve hosted previously,” Mr Gelston said.
“We’ve lowered the ticket cost, mixed up the format of the event, but importantly managed to keep the classy feel that guests would have come to expect from our fundraising evenings.”
Guests will be entertained by a live Jazz ensemble and have the opportunity to add to the fundraising tally by bidding on items and unique experiences in the live and silent auctions.

In 2023 St.Giles purchased the vacant former Newstead Heights School from the Tasmanian Government for $1 with the view of expanding the programs and services offered in Northern Tasmania, however the site and Hydrotherapy Pool require extensive work before being recommissioned and this evening is an opportunity for the community to directly help fund these works.
