The St.Giles Burn is back this October, and organisers are calling on all corners of the community to step up and tackle the hill.
Returning to the Elizabeth and Arthur Street hill in 2025, the 2025 event is shaping up to be a bumper Burn, with new activities, food options and sponsors helping propel the event to new heights.
“We’re incredibly excited to be bringing the St.Giles Burn back to town this October,” said event manager Scott Gelston.

Last year spectators lined the road at the St. Georges Square finish line precinct, and this year that activation will be expanded with more family activities, new food and drink options and giveaways.
“We want to give our entrants and their families a reason to come along, enjoy the activities at the park and make an afternoon out of this event, even if you can do the fun run up the hill in a couple of minutes.”
Entrants are once again able to fundraise their way to the St.Giles Burn, with the JustGiving peer-to-peer platform now open, and prizes on offer for those who raise the most funds for St.Giles.
Those who set up their own fundraising page will go into the random draw to win a $20 Woolworths gift card, and the top Adult and Child fundraisers will win a $200 gift card courtesy of our charity partner Woolworths.
The event will be held on Sunday October 19th and feature a mix of races for children, adults, families, pets, prams and bikes.
Tickets are on sale now via TryBooking, with adults $20, children $10, and families $40 (up to 2 adults and 2 children)
