Ella Anderson

Ella is an experienced Clinical Psychologist having practiced in the sector for over 10 years.  She holds a Bachelor of Psychology Honours and a Masters of (Clinical) Psychology from the University of Tasmania.  Ella has specialised in neurodevelopmental assessment, working with a range of assessments to support the recognition and functional needs of Autistic individuals, those with ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, Specific Learning Disorder, developmental delays, and mental health conditions.  She has a strong understanding of a range of assessment tools and works within a multi-disciplinary team to best support the needs of the children and young people she works with, alongside their families.

Ella has a keen interest in supporting the growth and development of others and pursued further training to become a Board Approved Supervisor for Psychology students and interns to support their early career development.  She has supported a number of provisional psychologists in finding their feet within the sector and it is one of her greatest passions.

She is currently the Clinical Lead for the Developmental Assessment Team (DAT) where she supports a multi-disciplinary team to work alongside families to identify neurodevelopmental conditions and identify the functional needs of children.  Ella is also the current Clinical Lead for Psychology where she is supporting the team to re-establish a therapy service to meet a significant need in the community for psychology services.
